Homegrown & Hands-On
Born in Bangalore, made for slowing down — because good things (and pots) take time

Community First
Our studio is part studio, part sanctuary — where stories are shared, hands are messy, and friendships take root.

Flaws and All
We celebrate the wobbles, the asymmetry, and the happy accidents that give each piece its own personality.

Happy Muddy Hands
We play with mud for a living — and we love it :
Tucked away in a quiet corner of Bangalore, there’s a studio where the mugs wobble, the tea flows, and no one’s pretending to have it all figured out.
It’s called Trayah — and it’s more than just a pottery studio. It’s a place to slow down, breathe deep, and let your hands do the thinking.
Here, we trade screens for clay, rush for rhythm, and perfection for presence. The wheel spins, the clay squishes, and somehow — in the mess of it all — something beautiful takes shape. Not flawless, but honest. A little lopsided, maybe, but full of soul.
We believe in the joy of making something that’s entirely yours. In the therapy that lives in a lump of mud. And in the kind of creative mess that leaves you smiling (and a little muddy).

Our Teaching Philosophy
We don’t teach pottery like it’s just a skill—we teach it like it saved us.
When life got too loud, clay asked only for our presence (and sometimes, forgiveness for turning our vase into a weird ashtray).
You don’t need to know anything—not even how to breathe.
If you’ve forgotten that too, we’ve got you. There’s no judgment here (okay, maybe from one judgy kiln).
We teach gently—with humor, heart, and zero pressure for perfection.
Pottery is messy, grounding, and oddly healing.
We guide people back to themselves—through clay, laughter, and the joy of making something real.
Everyone’s welcome: the anxious, the burnt-out, the “I’m not artistic” types. We don’t fix anyone—we just hold space. And if you leave with muddy hands, a lighter heart, and something vaguely bowl-shaped? We’ve done our job.

Where calm meets your chaos
A breath of calm for your busy mind and your restless hands. In our studio, the world slows down. The wheel spins gently. The clay listens. And somewhere between muddy fingers and wobbly cups, you remember how to breathe.
This isn’t just pottery—it’s presence. A small, sacred pause in a world that rarely stops. Come make something imperfect. Come feel human again.
