Service Description

Format: Intensive | Immersive | Focused Form Practice Duration: 10 consecutive days (Wednesday–Sunday for 2 weeks) Course Fee: ₹20,000 (inclusive of materials & firing of 10 pieces) Start Dates: First & Third Wednesday of every month Schedule: ● Teaching Hours: ○ Wed–Fri: 10:30 AM – 2:00 PM ○ Sat–Sun: 10:30 AM – 1:30 PM ● Studio Practice: Wed–Fri: 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM (Note: Practice hours available only within course validity) Overview: A focused and immersive introduction to wheel pottery. You’ll learn foundational throwing skills — centering, pulling, shaping — and move from basic cylinders to mugs, vases, and more. We’ll also touch upon basic handbuilding for surface decoration and small forms. By the end of the course, you’ll glaze and complete your own curated set of 10 finished pieces — a cohesive mini-collection that reflects your first steps into clay. What You’ll Learn: ● Clay prep, studio setup & tools ● Wedging, centering, pulling & throwing basic cylinders ● Altering cylinders into vases, cups and mugs ● Attaching feet and handles ● Introduction to handbuilding: pinch pots, slabs ● Surface decoration: carving, stamping, textures ● Finishing & preparing for bisque firing What You Get: ● 10 instructor-led sessions with hands-on demos ● All materials & tools provided ● 10 glazed & fired ceramic pieces to take home ● Dedicated studio practice hours Best For: Beginners seeking immersive, hands-on learning in a short time.
