Service Description
Format: Flexible | Hobbyist-Friendly | Strong on Basics Duration: 3 Months (16 Sessions) Course Fee: ₹25,000 (inclusive of materials & 16 fired pieces) Start Dates: 4 per month — First/Third Wednesday & Saturday Structure: ● Total Sessions: 16 (12 Wheel + 2 Handbuilding + 2 Glazing) ● Session Duration: 3 hours each ● Studio Practice: Weekdays 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM (Note: Practice hours available only within course validity) ● Glazing Sessions: 2 per month (pre-booking required) ● Handbuilding sessions: 2 per month (pre-booking required) How It Works This flexible-format module gives you the freedom to schedule your 12 wheel throwing sessions at your convenience, anytime within the 3-month course validity. Simply inform us at least a day in advance to confirm your next session. Handbuilding and glazing sessions follow a fixed monthly calendar—we’ll announce multiple date options each month, and you can coordinate with your instructors to book your preferred slot. Available time slots for instructor-led wheel throwing sessions are listed below. Available Time Slots for sessions (Instructor-Led): ● Wed–Fri: 10:30 AM – 1:30 PM ● Sat–Sun: 10:30 AM – 1:30 PM | 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM Overview: Designed for those who want flexibility without compromising depth. This course gives you the space to build fundamentals in both wheel throwing and handbuilding, at a pace that fits your life. Across 16 sessions, you'll complete a well-rounded collection of 16 functional and expressive pieces. What You’ll Learn: ● Studio orientation & clay prep ● Throwing cylinders, bowls, and vases ● Trimming, attaching handles ● Surface design: carving, mishima, sgraffito ● Basics of handbuilding: pinching, coiling, slab work ● Glaze application techniques What You Get: ● 16 guided sessions over 3 months ● Flexible scheduling and practice access ● All materials & firings included ● Up to 16 fully glazed ceramic pieces Best For: Beginners who need flexible scheduling and are exploring pottery as a creative outlet. Missed a Pre-booked Session? Life happens—we get it! If you need to reschedule your already booked session, just let us know at least 24 hours in advance, and we’ll help you rebook it within your course validity period. Missed pre-booked sessions without prior notice, however, will be considered used. Since we work with limited batch sizes and availability.
