Service Description

Format: High-Commitment | Portfolio Development | Technical Mastery Duration: 5 Weeks (22 Sessions) Course Fee: ₹50,000 (inclusive of materials & firings) Start Dates: First Wednesday of every month Structure: ● Sessions: 22 total (18 form building + 4 glazing/project planning) ● Teaching Hours: Wed-Sun, 10:30 AM – 1:30 PM ● Studio Practice: Wed–Friday, 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM (Note: Practice hours available only within course validity) Overview: For potters seeking portfolio-level refinement, this intensive explores multipart, large-scale forms and sculptural expression. Expect to make tall section-thrown vases, refined teapots, and advanced lidded jars. The course ends with a personal project phase. What You’ll Learn: ● Throwing with 2kg+ clay ● Section joining (cushion joins, collaring) ● High-precision teapot assembly ● Sculptural-functional design ● Glaze layering, resist, and special finishes ● Planning and executing personal pieces What You Get: ● 20–22 instructor-led sessions ● Dedicated kiln access & firing strategy participation ● 2 glaze sessions (test tile theory + final glazing) ● Studio access during course ● All clay, tools, and firings included Best For: Advanced potters building a strong body of work or applying to residencies, design programs, or exhibitions.
